Open Call for Singers of all ages and skill levels!

Popularized by Grammy-winning artist Bobby McFerrin, Circle Singing is a spontaneous a cappella vocal practice in which leaders take turns to improvise melodic and rhythmic parts and teach them to groups of singers to build layered, harmonized, often wordless songs on the spot.

This is an improvised vocal experience where everyone is welcome, including walk-ups, but if you plan to participate please take a moment to register at I Want To Circle Sing!

Participate or enjoy one, two or all three of the performances taking place at:

1. 10:00am-12:00pm, led by Vivienne Aerts
   Prospect Park’s Old Bandshell at the north end of the Nethermead just west of the Boathouse

2. 2:00-4:00pm, led by Deborah Latz, Jesse Goldman, Jeannette Miller, and Pat Wictor (Kaleidoscope)
   Central Park’s Bethesda Terrace archway under the 72 Street Transverse

3. 6:00-8:00pm, led by Stefanie Wasserman
   The High Line, at the Chelsea Passage between W15 St & W16 St
