Folk Music Society of New York (FMSNY) seeks to build a community of people that love trad music, through participatory singing and playing. For Make Music Day 2024, FMSNY is organizing singarounds across NYC. All singers and instrumentalists are encouraged to join the circle and share songs with the Society’s regulars, from 5-10pm.   
 
In Brooklyn, Susan Bady and Gary Goodenough will host a session in Mount Prospect Park. Brooklyn Community Sing has been going strong for more than 10 years! 
 
In Manhattan, Heather Wood, Evvy Mayer and Chris Davis will be hosting a session in the beautiful Ring Garden in Inwood.  
 
In Queens, join the Sunnyside Folk Club for a session at Sanger Hall, an Irish-American pub in Sunnyside. Hosted by Donie Carroll and Steve Suffett, the club just celebrated its 10th anniversary!
