The always popular participatory program affectionately known as “Sousapalooza” returns this season with a special afternoon performance from the plaza at 601 Lexington Avenue (at the corner of E 53rd St.)
All brass, woodwind and percussion players, of all backgrounds and skill levels, are invited and encouraged to join us by sight reading the marches of the incomparable John Philip Sousa on the spot, in a pop-up performance directed by Conductor Oscar Wiley Thorp. All necessary sheet music is provided below.
